Indications of Migraine Prophylaxis:
Sibelius is usually given
to help prevent migraine attacks. It is not a treatment for acute migraine
attacks but decreases the frequency, duration, and severity of migraines over
time. Vertigo: It is also useful in the management of vestibular disorders like
vertigo (a state where one experiences dizziness, spinning sensation, and loss of
balance). Other Uses: Sibelium may also be used for other conditions not listed
in this medication guide (see Indications/Sidelines), despite persuasion not being the primary use of Sibelium.
Dosage and Administration Dosage Adults:
The usual initial dose to prevent migraines is 10 mg once a day in
the evening. In the case of elderly patients, the dose is to be decreased up to 5
mg daily.

Precautions and Warnings Contraindications Allergy:
Patients with
hypersensitivity to Flunarizine or any other components present in the medicine
should not take Sibelium.
Depression:
Sibelium may worsen depression so caution should be exercised with
patients having a history of depressive disorders. Flunarizine can make the
symptoms of Parkinson's disease worse and should be avoided by individuals with
this condition.

Depressants:
The sedative effects of Flunarizine may be seen faster when used
with alcohol, barbiturates, or other hypnotic agents. Restasis is
contraindicated in patients with a history of an allergic response to any compound
present in it and effectively interacts if used with beta-blockers due to the
combined effect resulting in enhanced risk of the occurrence of serious
cardiovascular episodes. Concurrent administration with some antidepressants
